"Pray without ceasing."

 – 1 Thessalonians 5:17

The Body of Christ

  • That every heart would desire:
  • a growing relationship with Jesus to enable them to live a pure, holy, sinless life
  • Direction from the Lord to give them opportunities to help the needy and befriend the friendless
  • discernment to keep "unspotted from the world" and happy in the Lord

"Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise."

 – James 5:13

Our Church Leadership

  • All who are busy serving the Lord behind the scenes: Rev. Henry, Session, Sunday School, Presbyterian Women’s Group, Lunch Serving Committee, Brenda Huberts and the Choir and Praise Team, Bible Studies, Prayer Groups, Garden and Groundskeepers, Custodians, Administrators, that they would be seeing God's direction as they serve
  • Rev. Henry, for wisdom moving forward with outreach and church growth and leading our congregation into the future
  • Our youth leaders; Wayne and Tara Evans, that God would give them strength and wisdom
  • Our leaders and organizers in all our church groups that this summer would be a time of rest and renewed growth in their relationship with the Lord and that they would seek God's direction as they plan for the Fall

"Don't pray when you feel like it. Have an appointment with the Lord and keep it. A man is powerful on his knees."

- Corrie Ten Boom

Personal Concerns

  • That God would strengthen our families and marriages
  • Thanks for all we have, that we count our blessings every day
  • Those who have lost loved ones and are grieving
  • All those facing sickness, surgeries, and imminent passing, and for their caregivers
  • Family members who haven’t accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior – that they will!
  • Wisdom and discernment
  • More time for prayer and reading the Bible

Outreach and Church Growth

  • Financial support, with continued commitments to the Faith Challenge at Beacan and continued provision for Knox Gamebridge
  • That God would soften the hearts of all the people that we come in contact with and make them open to receiving the Gospel
