The Body of Christ

  • Our church family, that we are a community of believers, sharing life in Christ
  • All churches to seek God and, in difficult decision-making, to know and do God’s will, especially decisions in the Presbyterian Church in Canada
  • Missionaries, locally and around the world

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and

I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

- 2 Chronicles 7:14

Our Church Leadership

  • The Huberts family, Rev. Henry, Brenda, and their sons
  • All who are busy serving the Lord behind the scenes: Session, Board of Managers, Sunday School, Presbyterian Women’s Group, Lunch Serving Committee, Choir, Praise Team, Bible Studies, Prayer Groups, Garden and Groundskeepers, Custodians, Administrators
  • Strength and wisdom for our youth leaders. Pray for the youth of our community, that God would lead them here, and that this church would be a safe place for them to come and find a relationship with Jesus
  • Continued participation in our Bible studies, prayer meetings, and additions to our groups
  • Our musical ministries, with thanks for the leaders and organizers
  • Financial support, especially continued commitments to the Faith Challenge at Beacan

I took my

troubles to

the Lord;

my prayer.

Psalm 120:1

Outreach and Church Growth

  • That we will humble ourselves before God, seek His face, and turn from our sin so that He will hear our prayers, forgive us, and heal our land.
  • For the communities of Beaverton and Gamebridge and surrounding areas
  • That, as individuals, we will be faithful to tell about the Gospel when presented with the opportunity
  • For upcoming events, that people would feel welcome in our church buildings and at other events outside our buildings.
  • That God would soften the hearts of all the people we will come into contact with and make them open to receiving the gospel

The Christian life is not a constant high.

I have my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say, 'O God, forgive me,' or 'Help me.'

- Billy Graham

Personal Concerns

  • Thanks for all we have, that we count our blessings every day (Philippians 4:6)
  • Those who have lost loved ones and are grieving
  • All those facing sickness, surgeries, and imminent passing, and for their caregivers
  • Family members who haven’t accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior – that they will!
  • Wisdom and discernment
  • More time for prayer and reading the Bible
