The Body of Christ

  • That every believer would:
  • have a knowledge of God's love and grace for them personally
  • have grace for those who believe and behave differently from them
  • have the desire to forgive others as Christ has forgiven us
  • That every heart would desire:
  • a growing relationship with Jesus to enable them to live a pure, holy, sinless life
  • direction from the Lord to give them opportunities to help the needy and befriend the friendless
  • discernment to keep "unspotted from the world", happy in the Lord

God does not give us everything we want, but He does fulfill His promises, leading us along the best and straightest paths to Himself.

- Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Our Church Leadership

  • The Huberts family, Rev. Henry, Brenda, and their sons, that they would have rest for their bodies and minds, that they find time to grow their relationship with God, and that their family relationships are healthy and growing
  • All who are busy serving the Lord behind the scenes: Session, Board of Managers, Sunday School, Presbyterian Women’s Group, Lunch Serving Committee, Choir, Praise Team, Bible Studies, Prayer Groups, Garden and Groundskeepers, Custodians, Administrators, that they would be seeing God's direction as they serve
  • Strength and wisdom for our youth leaders that God would give them strength and wisdom, that God's direction would be clear to them as they seek His help, and that any spiritual opposition would be removed by the Lord
  • Our leaders and organizers in our musical ministries, that they would seek God as they lead us in worship

Praise Him

He is your God,

and you have seen

with your own eyes

the great

and astounding

that He has

done for you.

Deuteronomy 10:21

Outreach and Church Growth

  • All those in Beaverton and Gamebridge and surrounding areas
  • Upcoming events, that people would feel welcome in our church buildings and at other events outside our buildings
  • Financial support, continued commitments to the Faith Challenge at Beacan, and continued provision for Gamebridge
  • That God would soften the hearts of all the people we will come into contact with and make them open to receiving the gospel

Personal Concerns

  • For our families and marriages, that God would strengthen relationships.
  • Thanks for all we have, that we count our blessings every day (Philippians 4:6)
  • Those who have lost loved ones and are grieving
  • All those facing sickness, surgeries, and imminent passing, and for their caregivers
  • Family members who haven’t accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior – that they will!
  • Wisdom and discernment
  • More time for prayer and reading the Bible
