The Body of Christ

  • That every home would:
  • have a family altar and Bible-study habit
  • have a devotion of duty and love for pure associations and a love for church literature
  • have a spirit of Christian hospitality
  • have a loyal attitude toward the Church
  • be faithful and constant in the training of children for God
  • That every heart would desire:
  • to live a pure, holy, sinless life
  • to help the needy and befriend the friendless
  • to keep "unspotted from the world", happy in the Lord

To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable, because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you.

- CS Lewis

  • Strength and wisdom for our youth leaders. Pray for the youth of our community, that God would lead them here, and that this church would be a safe place for them to come and find a relationship with Jesus
  • Continued participation in our Bible studies, prayer meetings, and additions to our groups
  • Our musical ministries, with thanks for the leaders and organizers
  • Financial support, especially continued commitments to the Faith Challenge at Beacan

I love the Lord,

for He heard my voice;

He heard my cry for mercy.

Because He turned

His ear to me,

I will call on Him

as long as I live.

Psalm 120:1

Outreach and Church Growth

  • That we will humble ourselves before God, seek His face, and turn from our sin so that He will hear our prayers, forgive us, and heal our land.
  • For the communities of Beaverton and Gamebridge and surrounding areas
  • That, as individuals, we will be faithful to tell about the Gospel when presented with the opportunity
  • For upcoming events, that people would feel welcome in our church buildings and at other events outside our buildings.
  • That God would soften the hearts of all the people we will come into contact with and make them open to receiving the gospel

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

 – Mark 11:24-26

Personal Concerns

  • Thanks for all we have, that we count our blessings every day (Philippians 4:6)
  • Those who have lost loved ones and are grieving
  • All those facing sickness, surgeries, and imminent passing, and for their caregivers
  • Family members who haven’t accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior – that they will!
  • Wisdom and discernment
  • More time for prayer and reading the Bible
